I have always loved watching the British Open. Other than the Masters, it is my favorite golf tournament to watch and the only golf i'll ever get up at 6am to tune into. I don't know what infactuates me about it but I just enjoy it. |

That's typically a bad sign for those guys, cause when they're hitting it well, they simply hit and reload cause they know where it's landing and they need no feedback from the ball flight. Long stares on the range are often seeking feedback from the flight path. I actually made that comment to my neighbor and he nearly choked when the first tee shot went awry.
At his swing speeds, timing issues are deadly. |

That said, he left a ton of putts short today. |

If I were Ryder Cup captain with our squads, I'd pick places with huge fairways, long forced carries, mile long par 4s and superfast greens. I'd water the course to sludge and make 'em play target golf. (I would also leave Leonard and Verplank at home for that track) |
