the clubs don't matter. the question is about how dominant they are relative to their peers, who are using the same equipment.

Tiger is the most dominant golfer ever and possibly the most dominant athlete ever. I'm not a huge Tiger fan because he makes things uncompetitive when he's rolling. That's a very strong statement.

He is in a class of his own. I think it has to do with how young he started also.

I disagree. I think it's because he has unbelievable talent and unrivaled mental strength. The guy has the best short game ever, period.

They may "work" but if I have to give strokes, I had just as soon not play a competitive round.

Three words: hand eye coordination. It is God given.

so your cool with getting strokes, but not with giving them when warranted?

I have never taken a stroke in my life. When I play with scratch guys, I am more concerned about learning from them than I am with asking them for mercy. Actually asking for mercy is a week suit of mine.

I hear what you're saying and agree in principal, but how do you level the playing field. If we can all agree upon what everyone shoots on a good day (handicap), then can't we level the playing field and be competitive. Otherwise, the scratch guy wins almost all the time.

I don't view playing with handicaps as a weakness at all. I think it makes one on one play more fun. I just think it translates poorly to team games.

That said, wanna play straight up?

Straight up for dinner and beer. Lex, Bowling Green, Knoxville, or Nashville? I would say HH but the twins are on the way.

Right now it is 8. I assure you that you are presenting quite a challenge for me. This will give me a reason to work my butt off on the range.
