sometimes i get in in my head that i just need to smack the piss out of the ball instead of choosing a longer club. improving my rhythm has helped with my distance which i know, but sometimes can't force myself to believe on the course.

a silly, frustrating game this golf can be.

That's a surefire recipe for diaster

Shot an 89 today, and playing again Sunday morning
today was perfect weather

Free beer too

struggled on the front today, but shot a 42 on the back..

Chipped in for a birdie from about 60 yards out on a par 4..

Ball hit the top third of the flag stick on it's downward arc, and dropped in

I have been in the market for a new set of "game improvement" sticks for a couple of months now. I only find time to play 5 or 6 times a year so my old blades have just become too hard to hit due too lack of course time. I got a near new set of Mizuno MX-17's, 3-PW, graphite shafts for $124 on ebay. I am pretty excited, I thought it was a good deal.

I usually have a natural bias against playing golf in long pants, much less long sleeves. Nevertheless, I am changing my strategy this year, and I am going to play all winter, wearing thermals and driving the tee into the ground with a hammer if necessary.

Consequently, next spring, I am going to be crushing drives and throwing darts at greens, and all of you hibernators will be so far behind me that you mistakenly think you are ahead.

Muha...

haha...

muhahahahahaa.....

I'm no fan of Seve and his Ryder Cup shenanigans, but his is a sad story today and I do wish him nothing but the best in his recovery from this tumor.

He and Faldo absolutely saved European professional golf and he is to be commended.
