| I am going to put the Big Bertha driver into retirement before todays round and purchase either the new Calloway Hyper X or the Taylormade r7 superquad, haven't made up my mind which. While I know that my spraying of the driver as of late is much more due to the users swing than the club, I believe a new look and feel is due, never been the greatest driver of the ball and even though I've only been back to playing for a couple of months after a 10 month layoff I have never been this wayward from the tee. I'm loving my game right now except for the tee ball so I'm going with that blame it on the club and trade method.

| I'm following the same path, I put the G5 away, and have gone back to a Titelist 983k, and I've put a friends R7 in the bag to try today.
I'll let you know how it goes, tee time at 1:20
GA and BPV, those single digit handicaps are nice, I got down to an 11, with my sights set on getting to single digits, and then my son and daughter came along..

| Well
46 on the front and 43 on the back
I tried the R7, and the Callaway FT5
I hit the Callaway the best, but I've come to the conclusion that's it's "the indian not the arrow"
oh well, I'll be in Destin the next two weeks trying to straighten it out on the courses down there

| Well guys...I have decided this will be the year of the club down. Gone are the days of hitting my PW from 150 out. I am going to concentrate on clubbing down to improve my swing consistency and the accuracy of my approach shots. |

I will be choking down for control and sacrificing distance for accuracy. My goal is to make the same swing every time. |

Be carefull with wholesale changes that really mess with your tempo. The high ball flight is likely ball position and handsy swing. You might continue to swing aggressively (which I think is the way to go), but try the no hands swing that the big boys use to lower spin and hit lower shots.
That said, I've never seen you swing, but I just don't like the sound of a good golfer changing things up to be shorter. |
