Watching The Oklahoma Spring Game...

I feel confident saying that, if they find a competent QB, this will be the best team of the Stoops Era. The team speed is outstanding. Demarco Murray will be a star at tailback.

The Sooners and the 'Canes play in week 2 this year. Welcome to the Big Time, Randy Shannon.

Allen Patrick is a good 2nd choice back. He's more decisive than the AD was, but I don't think he has the burst or moves AD does.

He'll get his fair share of carries. OU is absolutely loaded at running back.

I guess the Sooners and Canes decided to screw the BCS quandry about strength of schedule determining who should play in the "big game".... Preemptive strike. I applaud their guts...

It's been signed for a couple of years. OU signed series with the 'Canes and Ohio State when the 12th game was added. The "U" added another marquee nonconference opponent for the future, I think it might be Ohio State as well.

OU, the "U", Ohio State, and Texas have all been really aggressive about adding big time opponents to their schedule with the 12th game.

None at all, was just curious.

I love the early season games like that.

I believe Ohio State and Southern Cal are also scheduled to play in the regular season in the years to come.

Our beloved Vols historically have played a strong out of conference schedules but it seems to me that in the upcoming season and later a few "cupcakes" have appeared. Am I out of line?

It's a pretty simple concept. Step up to the plate and prove you belong in the BCS championship or schedule Citadel and then cry about it after the regular season ends.
