| Who Was Right Them Or Fine Vol I had a disagreement with some Laker fans. I said that I would rather build a team around Shaq than K. Bryant and they said I was crazy. The one guy kept saying "I sold Laker tickets for a long time and everyone hated Shaq." Whatever, I pick the daddy. |

I really dislike Kobe, but there's no way Shaq wins any championships with the Lakers current roster. Kobe needed Shaq just as Shaq needed Kobe. Kobe was replaced by D. Wade for Shaq. Shaq was replaced by Kwame Brown for Kobe. Like I said, it's just a little unfair.
Don't get me wrong, though. I do believe Kobe needed Shaq a little more than Shaq needed Kobe. |

| | Wave yo hands in the aiya | People debating this on the side of Kobe are modern day entertainment seekers who love the Top 10 segment type stuff. Kobe is clearly better for the top 10 plays, but for Dynasty building - please. Look at any historically dominant franchise in the NBA and tell me which ones didn't have great centers. I think Chicago would be the only one and they had MJ with incredible D. That Chicago squad couldn't have beaten the Lakers and Celtics of the 80s and would have struggled mightily with Shaq's Lakers. |
