| 1 vs. 16 Does anyone think that a 16 seed will ever upset a 1 seed in the tournament? If I remember correctly, last year Vermont gave UConn all they wanted for 30-35 minutes.

| Princeton had Georgetown on the ropes. ETSU had Oklahoma staggered. Western Carolina should have beaten Purdue. Eventually, somebody will pull it off. |

| I hope Tennessee never receives a number one seed, because it is our luck that we would be the first one to lose.

Duke/Southern, Nova/Monmouth, and UConn/Albany. I just don't think the 16's have the stamina to hang with a #1 seed for the whole game. It will happen eventually. |

| It'll definatley happen and before very long is my guess. So many teams from the smaller conferences or mid majors can beat anyone in the country on a given nite these days. Also when it happens I think it'll be a Big 10 or Pac 10 team that goes down. |

On terms of name recognition, the two schools with easily the biggest ball programs in the country are just down the road from eachother.

Sad. | The Southern Conference needs better play out of its two flagship programs, UTC and College of Charleston. Bob McKillop is holding up his end of the equation at Davidson. |
