No it isn't the first time, they had this question on Sports Talk the other day. I think the first was Tarkenton (sp?) and Namath.

I think it was Fran Tarkenton against Ken Stabler.

I knew it was Namath or Stabler, but I couldn't remember which one it was.

Is this the first time a former SEC QB has sucked this much in a Super Bowl? Lovie Smith have tried to track down Danny Wuerffel during halftime.

Since Lovie is a Tennessee boy, I think he should have tried to find Heath Shuler.

Grossman is awful...Chicago with a decent QB could have been dangerous...

now that is correct. it's funny though, when you hear about past qb's from the SEC.......i've never even heard of anything Fran did at UGA......i know more about Buck Belue and Jimmy Streeter than i have ever heard about Fran.......weird.

I always got "That's Incredible" and "Real People" confused. They were 2 of my favorite shows as a kid.
