Barbaro

Barbaro was put to sleep today. I was hoping he was going to make it through the ordeal but too many complications.

That is a bummer. I am not a horseracing buff or anything but the story is a downer to say the least.

How much Elmer's Glue can they make out of a $7,000,000.00 horse anyway? I would guess about $25 worth.

JZ, it probably was out of line. I really am sorry for the horse and the people who cared for it.

When he was injured in the Preakness, that was one of the sickest feelings I have ever had watching a live sporting event. He had a chance for greatness, and in an instant you knew his life was over. I was disgusted at the time.

I wish he had won the triple crown, but I'm glad to not hear about this anymore.
