| Let the Whining Officially Commence! ESPN.com - COLUMNIST - Wojciechowski: Highway robbery in Michigan
This part is classic:
"Carr had to do what Auburn's Tommy Tuberville did two seasons ago. Tuberville's team finished the regular season 12-0, but was left out of the Tostitos BCS Championship Game in favor of undefeated USC and Oklahoma."
"It's hard," said Tuberville. "It's hard to look them in the eye. Heck, we're still not over it. You never get over it. It's like a question that's never been answered."
Carr is asking those same questions. And he'll get the same shoulder shrugs that Tuberville got.
How the hell does this idiot equate a one-loss Michigan team getting passed over for the national championship game to an undefeated Auburn team that won the toughest conference in college football getting left out of the national championship game? Note to Wojciechowski - GET A DAMN CLUE!

| I read the article. By the end the writer didn't even believe what he was saying. |

| I loved the part near the end of the story where the writer claimed that the Vanderbilt coaching staff (who played both Michigan and Florida) told him, privately of course, that Michigan is the better team between Michigan and Florida.
Notice that he didn't quote any of the Vanderbilt coaches, but he notes that they told him this privately. Why do I get the feeling that this writer is making this crap up? If it was supposed to be off the record, then he shouldn't have mentioned it at all. If it was on the record, then why didn't he quote them directly? This is yet another example of the piss poor writing and commentary offered by ESPN. |

| Wojciechowski always seems to be pissed about something. Let it go.

| People can say anything they want but it's wrong to have two teams form the same conference playing for the national championship. That problem was already solved and resulted in OSU being the Big Ten champs.
Maybe the Big Ten should get Notre Dame to come around and get a true conference championship game.

| I learned recently that he's a UT grad. Apparently was a football walk-on, too.
Still don't think too much of his columns. |

| Good to see someone other than an SEC team get the screws for the NC game. |
