Did anyone see him on TV say that he knows who the new Bama HC is and that he cannot give a name but it is a coach who has won a Ntl. C-ship? I did not see it but I heard it second hand on the radio. Finebaum said it on his show. I normally would not listen to the guy but it's awesome to hear the Bammer callers in a state of confusion. |

| This is a list of coaches who have won a national championship. I highlighted all the coaches, I see as having even a REMOTE chance.
Looks like he could be referring to Saban, if you believe Spurrier is staying put.

| Guys it will either be Rich Rodriguez or Paul Johnson. And if the national title thing is true then I say Johnson since he won a couple Div. 1-AA titles at Ga. Southern. I look for some sort of announcement Monday after Navy plays Air Force and WV plays Rutgers.

If we are pegging Oregon State coaches Mike Riley is more likely then Erickson.

It almost feels like Riley is doomed short of 10 wins per season, and Pac-10 titles every year.

Leavitt from South Florida was in the same mix.
