Miami...

Got to admit, watching Miami compile their 5-6 record has been somewhat of a guilty pleasure. Who would have thought that possible 4 years ago?

I, for one, am hoping they lay an egg tonight and go 5-7, officially worse than the VOLS last season. Coker is gone either way so let 'em lose.

They haven't been beaten by Boston College since Flutie had the Hail Mary in 1984......It wouldn't bother me any to see Miami go 5-7....And not make a Bowl game.....The big topic to talk about after they lose is who will they get to replace Coker? Will it be Spurrier? Has anyone else heard that Miami is interested in Shula?

why would they replace Coker? sure it's been a nightmare year for the U, but you don't get rid of a coach with his record over one bad season.

Coker's job was basicaly hanging by a limb before the season. You can bet it's gone after this season and the brawl.

With Coker as coach the U has been a steady decline. He has no control in his program.

A program like Miami requires a serious badass at head coach. Coker is a player's coach, it just doesn't go there.

Couldn't bring myself to go to the game tonight. I've seen enough bad football out of the 'Canes this year.

Watch any NFL? Big performances by Joey Harrington and Tony Romo today.

then I guess it's a similar situation to the Jerry Green episode at UT. Decent enough success, but he had to go anyway...

Did Harrington play well enough to convince the Detroit Lions of what America already knows - Matt Millen is completely incompetent?

Anybody that doesn't know that is beyond hope.

I kept defending Joey, saying it wasn't his fault that he looked that bad, that it was the fact that he played for Detroit... Although deep down I knew he probably wasn't top-flight NFL material. But he's really suprised a lot of people this season.

Let's remember one important fact. He was playing against the Detroit defense.

True. Matt Millen's incompitence extends to all three phases of the game.

Point taken . . . but other than maybe Isiah Thomas, there might not be a worse upper level executive in professional sports today.

Romo is looking like the second coming of Kurt Warner. Dallas was a 6-6 team with Bledsoe tossing the ball. I'm not going to say the 'boys are going to win it all, but Romo is doing some great things right now.

did anybody else think Dallas' throwback uniforms are putrid? I'm just glad TB didn't sport their brown and orange disasters.
