| Having Watched Memphis For A Half... I feel comfortable saying the UT game against the Tigers will be played at a breakneck pace. Lots of young guys playing that fast, the ball will be flying all over the place. The spectators in the first few rows might want to invest in protective headgear. |

| I agree, Hat. The Memphis game will be exciting! I have heard alot of people say that Memphis will be a team to watch even with the loss of their top 2-3 scorers.

They'll have some growing pains but, come February, the Tigers will be very good. |

| Looks like Tennessee will be their first real test besides the win they had over a decent Oklahoma team.

I was looking at their schedule and forgot about the Maui tournament. I guess, we are the toughest firtst opponent they will face other than the teams they might face in the Maui tournament.

| Hat, when do you think that Memphis and UT will be a good rival as far as basketball goes? I am talking year in year out could it be this year or do we have to wait? |

If they continue to play every year, it will develop into a solid rivalry. |

| Win or lose, I think UT, and Tennessee basketball (the state, not the university) will benefit greatly from a UT/Memphis game every year, in a similar manner to UK vs. Louisville. |
