| Mike Shula Since his failure yesterday and the five years previous do you think Alabama will get rid of him? |

| Seems like a majority of bama fans on tidefans.com want him gone. |

| Yes, they have a lower tolerance for failure than a lot of UT fans. Sooner or later they will get the right guy in there and they'll be running all over the SEC West again. Too much tradition, money and talent not to get back on top. |

He had a rookie QB and he was plagued with injuries more than we are right now. Plus, no Tyrone Prothro which he gets back next season I say will help him get back into the thick of things with a healthy DJ Hall as well on the other side of Protho.

| 'Bama didn't have a great record, but they were competitive. They're not that far off... get a new guy and most likely it sets them another year or two back. I think their recruiting has gone fairly well too. Getting rid of him now would be a mistake. As long as we continue to win 3 out of 4 against the tide, I hope he stays. |

| I think we'll see the AD and boosters essentially go through what we went through last year. Sit down with Shula, tell him there will be changes made on staff, etc. I predict Shula will be back but multiple staff changes. |

| Yeah, they'll rule the west again, since bringing in a new coach every 3-4 years is the key to success. |

Change coaches every 3 or 4 years, find that "perfect" guy. Meanwhile, you've wasted 10-15 seasons having head coach tryouts. |

| Even the diehard supporters (among the fans) are calling for his head.
He has no wins against Auburn or LSU and one win against UT.
He went 3-8, 7-6, 10-2, 7-6 or 6-7 depending.
Lost many 4th quarter leads, and has no comeback wins after trailing going into the 4th quarter.
He locks out the media and keeps everything in-house.
The big question is will he every be a good enough coach. So far, he hasn't shown the signs.
