| Jim Donnan said this week that Florida.... coach Urban Meyer will not be in the SEC very long. Coach Donnan says that from infor he is getting from NFL Meyer will be gone in 2-3 years tops. He further stated that Meyer will be seriously courted by several NFL teams after this season and he {Meyer} will take a good look; doesn't believe Meyer will leave this year, but, thinks he could well be gone after next season. |

What's he going to do - take the Falcons job and help finish off Michael Vick's career? | Nuff said!!!!!!!!!!! |

| He's a smart enough football guy. I seriously doubt he'd try to take any spread option type deal to the bigs.

I'm not saying that Meyer maybe couldn't pull it off. He's obviously a strong leader . . . but it seems like anybody that hires him will really be taking a leap of faith. | Does the name Spurrier come to mind? And to quote somebody(?) "I know Steve Spurrier and Urban Cowboy ain't no Steve Spurrier!" |

| they hype around meyer is getting ridiculous...
for as good as the gators are...lets not forget they lead the league in penalties and they have a fg kicker that has made 2...yes TWO fg's...all year long.
it's hard for me to crown him the best coach ever when you are so woefully behind in those categories. the penalties indicate a lack of discipline...and the fg kicking...well...who knows.
he's getting by on talent right now...and there's plenty of it in g'ville. can't wait to see how this team does against a team that can take advantage of it's weaknesses.

I am a Falcons fan, and since they're unwisely already married to the Michael Vick experiment, I would love to see them bring Meyer in here. He might actually be able to devise an offense in which Vick might thrive.
But Atlanta is the only team in the league for which Meyer would be a good fit. As much as I'd like to see Florida have to start over, I can't see it happening. Pity. |

| Yeah I dont know about finally either because he never lit it up in both his years at UF. Im sure some people will say "well wait till he gets his people" but come on...Florida ALWAYS has talent. Their offense isnt too tricky...just ignore all the motion pre-snap and youll be alright. |
