Favorite athlete in pro sports that isn't UT related

Obviously Peyton is one of my favorites in pro sports - but what about an athlete with no association to your school/favorite teams?

An athlete I've followed is Kobe Bryant.. the dude is just a baller.

I don't even really care for the Lakers, but I've always liked his game and style.

Since you ask for favorite athlete, I assume you just want one name. A few months ago, I would have said Steve Smith without a doubt. Now that he's a Raven, I still love the guy but can't quite call him my favorite anymore. I guess I'm gonna go with Cam Newton.
