| tim tebow
so what do you guys think of tebow and his future at florida?
with leak gone, what do you think the gators will look like with tebow at the helm?
i cannot see the usual passing attack.

| Well first off welcome to the board! There are about 600 threads on Tebow and what everyone thinks of him. I think the guy is a white Micheal Vick. Great running back but probably a average QB at best. It'll be interesting to see what he does full time next season. | |

| Vick ran a 4.2... Tebow doesn't.
Their arms may be comparable but Tebow seems to short arm his passes and go a little side arm neutralizing his size. Often those types of problems are fixable. Sometimes they're not. I doubt they'll mess with his motion- translation: he'll probably never be a conference leader in passing.
I personally think that if Meyer has Tebow run nearly as much as his QB's did in the MWC and WAC... he'll have a short, injury plagued career. I know he's big and strong but he's playing against better, more physical, more athletic defenders than any conference where they don't get paid to play.
Much like Schaeffer hasn't been very good without being the change up to Ainge, I don't think Tebow will be nearly as effective when teams don't have to prepare for Leak too. | |

| Since it's been proclaimed Tebow will be the Rookie of the Year, how much is he getting paid? Last I knew he was a Freshman, not a Rookie and Rookies get paid... |
