Heisman Trophy/Peyton Manning/David Cutcliffe

I figure posters will respond to anything with either of those words in the title. This thread deals with none of them.

If Bobby Bowden retires at the conclusion of this season, will FSU buy out Mark Richt's contract? I figured he would not leave what he has built at UGA, however, I never thought Roy Williams would abandon the program he built at KU, either. FSU is definitely Richt's dream job, and I think they could justify spending the money on Richt to their donors (especially after this season!)

You wiley devil.

I think Richt is a good coach and FSU should pursue him.

I honestly don't think we'll see Bobby leaving FSU anytime soon. I agree that Richt is a very good coach and a natural pick for FSU but I'm not sure they would buy out his contract.

Phog Allen, Ted Owens, and Larry Brown built the Kansas program. Exactly how many National Titles did Roy Williams win in Lawrence?

Your opinion is noted, then discarded as worthless.

Poor use of words. Williams maintained the program at KU. However, it was 'his' program when he left for UNC.

I figured that was actually your point. I just wanted to give a shout out to Ted Owens.
