I like the Preds, but watching on TV isn't the same as watching in person. |

| | Giver of Sexy | the preds are apparently an attractive pick to win it all this year. the team is certainly improved over last year, and you are right, last year they were pretty good. Arnott, Dumont and Vasicek should be good pickups. i see a lot of offense this year |

Last week in their NHL Preview, SI picked the Preds to finally overtake the Red Wings in the division. Not that it means anything, but someone out there thinks they'll be a pretty good team this year.

Good to talk to another true hockey fan. Maybe the Preds and the Canes will have a good enogh season to meet in the playoffs.
I don't expect another Stanley cup but sure would like to have another.
Do you post on the ESPN hockey boards? I don't post but I get a kick out of reading them. Nothing but trolls and flamers all over the place. Those boards convinced me that my low opinion of New Joiseyites was well founded, based on what was posted on the Hurricane board after the Canes ousted the Devils in 5. When they booted the Sabres out, the Buffalo parrots joined in. |
