| Do you think Syvelle Newton... will start against UT? I know its still along ways away, but seeming we have so much trouble with mobile QBs what do you think the chances are?

| He is playing really well tonight, but I'm more impressed with that S.C. offensive line. They are playing much better than they were expected to. Glad Georgia got past them when Mitchell was still their starter. S.C. might have something yet to say about the SEC east. |

| Very close game, didn't like the call in the end, the way Newton was running the ball I would have like to have seen the cocks put it in his hands to pick up the fourth down. Still, excellent game by the cocks as auburn escapes a really close one. If SC can play as well against florida and pull out a win there, would gives the Vols a much better shot at atlanta. |

| Yea It would give the Vols a good chance, but also the Vols have to get past SC. And I think they should have ran a draw that last play. |

| I'm fairly concerned about our strip to Columbia now. SC almost took down Auburn, who is a much better team than us.
I wish we had a RB like Irons for Auburn. He is a horse; strong, fast, nasty; never quits churning those legs and is always running downhill. When are our backs going to run like that again? |

| Found it funny, given the way the game ended, to find an Ivan Maisel article at espn.com, featuring Steve Spurrier and the fade pass/pattern.
Too sweet. |

| Don't forget this also the same team that beat Wofford only by a touchdown and couldn't score on Ga. SC played a good one against Auburn but that was only one game. |

But SC has a decent defense, and Newton brings an entirely different look at QB. That was easily the best SC has looked offensively all year. Auburn was a little flat, and based on SC's previous performances who can blame them? I would say they are still a top ten team. |
