| Hilarious quotes from Mack Brown ESPN.com - NCF - Ticked off: Brown faults clock rule in loss to OSU
Perhaps someone should inform this moron that his team lost by 17 points!!!
Were I to have ever had any respect for Mack Brown at all (I haven't), I would have lost it after this story.

| Maybe if he had that extra "22 minutes" of the game the Buckeyes could have tacked on another TD. Both teams have to play by these rules, it isn't like it only affects one team.

It then turned into three mistakes in a row.
1. Delay of Game (5yds)
2. Procedure penatly (5yds)
3. Ainge throws interception.
Only time really the offense screwed up all day.

| Texas fans generally know they got beat on the field. Had nothing to do with the clock. Mack should learn to hold his comments after a loss like that to himself. Count to ten and take deep breaths. He sounded like a complete moron.

"They scored with six minutes left and the game was over before we had a chance to do anything," Brown said. "I really hope whoever made these changes will go back and look them over."
Yes. Ohio State scored with 6 minutes left to go up by 17 points. 17 POINTS!! That's 3 scores! Just when, exactly, was Mack Brown planning to unleash his lethal Texas scoring machine on the Buckeyes? The old rules would not have helped Texas. Perhaps rather than bitching about the new rules, Mack should have coached his team well enough that his players didn't get their asses kicked for the first three and half quarters of the game. Then he wouldn't have had to worry about the clock running out before he could erase a 17-point deficit. Hell, Mack Brown's whining would at least be a little more convincing if his team had managed to score AT LEAST ONCE IN THOSE FINAL 6 MINUTES...or at least once in the ENTIRE SECOND HALF!!!

| sour grapes.
Like it or not the rule change is effective in shortening the game by about 20 minutes. |
