Thank god for college football.

Thursday: Watching the inagural SEC game, South Carolina at Mississippi State after I get off work. I'll probably be able to catch the 2nd half of the game.

Friday: Nevada at Fresno State. The only game of the night, should be a great game, though. Despite the Bulldogs losing Pinegar, should be a great clash of two teams with great offenses.

Saturday: First full day! Yea boyee. I got work from 7:00-1:00, but I'll be able to start off the day when I get back with Stanford at Oregon. Some good ol' Pac-10 football. How I have missed you. That will be a good warmup for, of course... Cal at Tennessee. You guys ready? I know I am. Then I wrap up the night by channel flipping between Washington State at Auburn, Notre Dame at Georgia Tech, USC at Arkansas and BYU at Arizona.

Sunday: Got Memphis-Ole Miss and Kentucky-Louisville. Not the greatest matchups, but one of the games could be intriguing.

Monday: FSU-Miami. 'Nuff said.

God bless college football.

Whatever happened to Paul Pinegar? Every time Fresno played, the announcers acted as if he were ready to step in and immediately start in the NFL. I never believed it, but with all the hype, I figured he'd at least get drafted.

Who knows. He was very good at Fresno State... Not that you have to face that much d in the WACk. But we've all seen him do his thing against tougher opponnents too, like USC last year. He'll get the calling some time.

Eh... Between Cal, Arizona, USC and a few others, the Pac-10 has at least some semblance of defense. And the offenses makes them look worse than they really are.

Whatever happened to the Disneyland Pigskin Classic that was played the weekend before everybody else started? Are they not playing that anymore?

And they will gather in masses to hail the pigskin. Fall is here, the leaves are beginning to change and energy is in the air.

Volunteers by thy name, college football be thy game. AMEN.
