Little League World Series
I don't really care about it that much... But I do work in Murray Hill, and it's cool to see the local kids playing well. They're going up against Georgia for the US Championship tomorrow afternoon? I think. I've only seen a few innings of the LLWS this year, but I suppose I'll check out this game and the Championship game. Anybody else gonna check out these last two?

I've watched parts of it.

How 'bout that 6'8'' 250lb kid on the Saudi Arabi team?

Dan Le Betard really said it best on how big that kid is... he's bigger than Ben Wallace.

I have never really gotten into the Little League World Series. I would rather ABC and ESPN televise the best billiards, darts, poker, etc. players in the nation than televise a bunch of 13 year olds who are still working on tapping into the fundamentals of baseball...

GA has a pitcher that throws in the mid to upper 70's. As the game progresses it slows down to low 70's.

There was some kid that threw what would be 124mph from a Major League mound, I thought I was seeing things and the next pitch was 123...
