Fowler is more popular, but McIlroy is unquestionably the better golfer.

Problem is that he sets up for his putts much like he does his field shots.

I would never dress like Fowler, but I like that he's different. Not much different than when Payne Stewart dressed like it was the Jazz Age out there.

He might be the most popular golfer with only 1 win. So it's working for him because he's making a lot in endorsement deals.

I've met Fowler, and the people I know who have spent some time with him say he's a great guy.

I also prefer rooting for Americans. He's young, has a very solid game, and should rack up a lot more wins going forward.

Doesn't matter, he only has 1 win and dresses how he wants. He will never amount to anything.

Where's the obligatory "which one would you rather make love to" Billy?

you are talking about something other than a silly comment about the guy "reinventing" the game. He's a golfer with really bad clothes trying to make an impression in a sea of guys just like him. I suspect he'd prefer to talk with his sticks, but that hasn't proven as loud as his Sunday prison attire.

FTR, I like him as a player.

Fair enough.

And for the record, I can't stand his clothes. Looks beyond stupid, IMO
