| Nastia Liukin is a bigger blow, IMO. Hoping she's still gonna be in London even though she's not competing. |

In terms of pure passion among spectators, Euro 2012 may well be bigger and definitely in Europe. | I'll agree with you. Euro was the biggest sporting event of the summer to me, even though the final result was disappointing. Other than a small handful of events, the men's 100m and maybe basketball, I really could care less about majority of the Olympics. |

| How much are tickets to the Olympics? Do you have to buy tickets for each event you want to go to, or do you get a pass? |

| I have a buddy (Andrew Rutherfurd) competing on Bolivia's swim team. He's my best friend's cousin, but I know his entire family really well, so essentially he's my cousin. He's swimming Tuesday morning at 3 am. I'll watch since I don't expect to ever know anybody competing ever again. |

| I went to a baseball game, and track & field at the ATL olympics. It was on a ticket per event basis. |

| Saw on Twitter (can't confirm accuracy): Quote: |
There was 176.5 hours of Olympics coverage in 1996. In 2012 NBC will cover a total 5,535 hours on all channels.
| And yet, no live coverage of the opening ceremonies.
