Yes, she looked a bit more like a normal person.

I'll agree with you. Euro was the biggest sporting event of the summer to me, even though the final result was disappointing. Other than a small handful of events, the men's 100m and maybe basketball, I really could care less about majority of the Olympics.

How much are tickets to the Olympics? Do you have to buy tickets for each event you want to go to, or do you get a pass?

I have a buddy (Andrew Rutherfurd) competing on Bolivia's swim team. He's my best friend's cousin, but I know his entire family really well, so essentially he's my cousin. He's swimming Tuesday morning at 3 am. I'll watch since I don't expect to ever know anybody competing ever again.

Pretty sure events have tickets. Would be a mess if 15,000 people show up for a swimming final.

I went to a baseball game, and track & field at the ATL olympics. It was on a ticket per event basis.

The US team isn't at the Olympics, so actually you know zero people. What a loser!

Saw on Twitter (can't confirm accuracy):
Quote:
There was 176.5 hours of Olympics coverage in 1996. In 2012 NBC will cover a total 5,535 hours on all channels.
And yet, no live coverage of the opening ceremonies.
