| College football - Reser Stadium (Oregon State), Autzen Stadium (Oregon), PGE Park (Portland State), Sun Devil Stadium (Arizona State), Ross-Ade Stadium (Purdue), LA Coliseum (USC). I've only been to games at Reser and Autzen, though.
NFL - Texas Stadium (Dallas Cowboys), RCA Dome (Indianapolis Colts), Sun Devil Stadium (Arizona Cardinals). Only saw the Cowboys play.
Auto racing - Indianapolis Motor Speedway. No racing, though. Just checking it out.
MLB - Ameriquest Field (Texas Rangers), Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles Dodgers), Kingdome/SafeCo Field (Seattle Mariners), Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox), Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs), PGE Park/Portland Civic Stadium (AAA Portland Beavers/A Portland Rockies). Been to games at all except Fenway.
NBA - Rose Garden (Portland Trail Blazers), Staples Center (Los Angeles Lakers), Conseco Field House (Indiana Pacers). Only been to a game at the Rose Garden.
That's about it. Fairly modest list. I wanna go to Yankee Stadium, Neyland Stadium, The Horseshoe, The Swamp (only for Tennessee at Florida)... I dunno what else

| I've done the Superbowl (if I ever get tickets again I am scalping those bad boys), World Series, NC games, every SEC venue except Starkvegas, Birmingham and Red Stick, and the US Open. The only other event on my list is The Masters. I have connections to every ticket but that one. I have had several family members actually play Augusta Natl, but I can't get a D@#n ticket to anything but a practice round. |

| hmm...
Neyland, Liberty bowl, Cotton Bowl, GA Dome (peach bowls and SEC title games), Vaught Hemingway (Ole Miss), Starkvegas, Legion Feild, William Bryce Stadium, Bank of America Stadium (Carolina Panthers), Heinz Feild, Coors feild, Pac Bell Park, the stadium where the diamond backs play, forget the name, PNC park (Pittsburgh Pirages), Turner Feild, AStro Dome, Wrigley Feild, Sun Devil Stadium, been to the Wachovia Championship and St. Jude Classic several times for Golf, and have been to Bristol, Lowe's Motor Speedway, Talledega, Rockingham, and Daytona for races....Daytona is the nicest, Bristol is the coolest.
that's about it...favorite stadium of those.....Neyland for obvious reasons, but Heinz Feild is pretty cool too...very fan friendly....they have escalators and elevators to get up to the upper deck, even for the folks that don't have club seats...parking is a breeze, and tail gaiting is easy there....nice big parking lots, and it's not far from the strip and north side bars....all wi/in walking distance.....easy to get in and out of too, well, if you know how to get around Pittsburgh that is....Coors feild is cool as well.
Wrigley though was cool. I relaly liked that. I liked Pac Bell in SF as well....but and i'm trying to be unbiased, but having troubel with that...PNC Park is the nicest bball park i've been too....it's really nice on the inside, and it's next to Heniz, so you get all the same fan friendly stuff that i mentioned for it...
places i want to go...Fenway Park, Athens, GA, Baton Rouge (but not for a TN game)....and a Super Bowl.
biggest dumps i've been to...Rockingham, the Cotton Bowl, The Liberty Bowl, in that order....Legion Feild isn't that far behind either.

| If you are a basketball fan, I would also suggest a trip to Rupp Arena. It is quite a spectacle. |

| I've been to a few but never really felt like I absolutely had to see any of them. I know I'm terrible with stadium/arena names and could google them but I'm lazy!
College football: UT, Bama (both of them), Florida, UGA, Ole Miss, Memphis St., LSU, UK, Vandy, Ga. Tech, Air Force (not during a game), Arizona St., Univ. of Ariz. and some small schools
Bowl games: Insight, Fiesta, Peach (sorry), Liberty
College bball: only UK but it was a great trip, however I was in school during the Houston-O'Neill era so can you blame me?
NFL: AZ Cardinals and they will be good this year, Titans, Falcons, Panthers, and I saw the Steelers vs. Pats(?) in Neyland long ago
NBA: Suns, Lakers
MLB: Braves, D'backs, Blue Jays (not during a game), Royals, Rockies, (do the Smokies count?) and many spring training games in Phoenix and Tucson (Cubs, A's, Angels etc)
Nascar: Phoenix, Dega, Bristol
NFL: Coyotes
Golf: saw the Phoenix open twice and it is an amazing event
I'd like to see a game at ND, go to a US Open or Masters final round, and would definitely travel to watch UT play Texas, Mich or Ohio St. |
