| This is one of the things that the Jeremy Bloom was so pissed about. He couldn't get paid for skiing, but it is ok for baseball players to make their cash. |

I think that's a ridiculous distinction, but it's the one the NCAA draws. |

| Well I can see where the rule came from, no promotional money for any NCAA player. Of course, I also think it's stupid for NCAA to not try and reach out, and allow Bloom to do promotional stuff as long as there was no mention of Colorado or football, or whatever.
