My UGA grad friend just left.He told me UGA has a qb from Texas they are really high on.Can't wait to get him in. :banghead:

Matt Stafford has looked good physically, but Mark Richt has made it pretty clear that he has no idea about the offense yet. Chances are they are going to go with the senior, Joe Tereshinski and see how far they can get with him.

if UGA wants to be good though, they'll choose one or the other and keep it that way
QB controversies can kill...

I can't imagine that Richt is going to play a true freshman QB unless he's absolutely forced to.

Did David Green redshirt? I know he started as a freshman.

Yeah, Greene was a redshirt freshman.

I should have qualified my statement better though. With a guy like Joe Tereshinski available, who almost led them to a win over Florida last year, I can't imagine Richt handing the starting job to Stafford coming out of Fall practice.

I agree NGB.The offense may not have to score many points if the defense is tough.Another thing,UGA is riding a wave of confidence as well.
