What's the better story?
Rudy, recorded a sack on the final play of his senior year for Notre Dame?
Jason, with autism, scored 20 points in the final 3 minutes of the final regular season game of his high school career.
I say Jason's.

I saw an interview with the real Rudy once and he said the scene where the players are turning in their jerseys to the coach, never happenend.Makes you wonder about some other parts of the story.

I remember seeing an interview with Bob Golic who played at Notre Dame at that time, he said he must've been hungover in his dorm the day they all turned their jerseys in like that.
