i mean i know the guy is a hall of famer and league mvp etc....but this is getting a bit ridiculous.....the packers have decisions to make, and each day he keeps 'em guessing could be hampering their long term goals....

i respect the guy for what he's done, but he's not the Brett Favre of 5 years ago, and certainly not the Brett Farve of the mid 90's.

imo he should retire and/or request a trade...preferably retire, i'd hate to see him in another jersey, and i'd also hate to see him go out this year on another down season...they guy's been too good for too long to go out like this.

If Brett wants to give his opinion on everything except his own situation, he should apply for a job with ESPN. Time to get this decision done Brett.

Like I've said before, if I were the Packers I would have given Favre a decent deadline and if he didn't decide by then, I'd decide for him and can him. The longer he waits, the longer he keeps the Packers from moving on.

I personally can't get enough of the press conferences he holds every other week to announce he's still undecided on whether or not he'll play next season.

I was pissed about him saying the Titans gave McNair a raw deal, yet he treats the Packers like crap? Pot, meet kettle.

I think so, too. In fact, I think he was done during the 03-04 seson. He definitely had problems with uniform identification, especially in the NFC semifinal against the Eagles. It seems to have gotten worse since then. I'd hate to see him go out like Unitas did.

Being from his neck of the woods, I like him and cant talk bad about him. I do feel its time for him to retire though.

I can't believe how ESPN is berating the Packers fans for just wanting him to quit yanking their chain and make a decision so that they can get prepared for the season, with or without him.

That's ESPN for you. I imagine the Packer fans would like to know if they're gonna be stuck without an 'A" QB when the season starts. If he intends to retire and announces now, the Pack has time to trade a draft pick for a quality QB. If not, they end up much like Miami when R. Williams suddenly retired.

He took snaps in three games last year... He went 9/16 with one pick and no touchdowns
