| Huggs signed 7'3" Jason Bennett today. Next year OJ Mayo, Bill Walker, Michael Beasley, and Herb Pope. The rest of the Big 12 is in for some rough trips to Manhattan, KS. |

He hired Delonte Hill, who was the reason Beasley had initially committed to Charlotte. Pope's summer coach, J.O. Straight, and Huggs are tight. Straight sent Danny Fortson to play at UC. Also, Huggs spent almost his entire period of exile recruiting Mayo and Walker. They have both expressed a desire to play for Huggs. |

| They should be pretty good, for at least 1 year. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayo, Beasley, and Walker all leave after 1. I really don't see Bennett. He isn't that good. Don't know much about Pope. |

| I saw where Devan Downey is going to transfer from Cincinnati. Did he have any ties to Huggins? Think he'll end up at KSU?

He talked serious trash about South Carolina, saying that he never considered the school because they weren't good enough for him. The Gamecocks promptly dispatched the Bearcats in Cincinnati as Tre Kelly took him to school en route to, yes......... |

| I dunno, from all I've heard about him, he is extremely limited on offense and has above average defense. Chism handled him earlier this year and a certain poster on this board has played against him and doesn't seem to be too impressed with him.
We will see, but I'd expect a player that is 7'3" to be able to dunk and block the occasional shot. |

| Like I said, we'll see. I'm quite content with getting Chism, though. |
