I think the guy is very lucky he didn't kill somebody. It could be a lot worse. Just incredibly stupid, who doesn't point the gun to the ground when they do that, and why play with a loaded gun. This guy ever heard of a gun range?

Actually, when you think about it, that may actually support his claim that he had never handled a gun before and that this was a complete accident.

Maybe so. It really sounds like he was in a bad environment more than anything else. Still, not something I'd necessarily rake the whole Florida football program over the coals for. You get 100 kids away from home and a couple of them are bound to do something stupid.
