Ricardo Patton at Colorado has strong ties to the Bluff City. Also, don't count Nolan Richardson out. That would be a perfect match. Memphis would replace one high profile coach with another and Nolan would get a chance to stick it to Arkansas in recruiting. |

| Yup..you knew it was definitely for leverage..afterall he's built some good teams in weaker conferences,(A10 and CUSA) but the guy didn't want to to fail when he had to play in a power conference against Dook and UNC.

I know he loved blasting them out of the Preseason NIT in 1994. |
