My sympathies to the Dana family. They showed the wreck during the race, and that was one of the most horrendous crashes I've ever seen.

They showed it this morning on SportsCenter soon after it happened, but I hadn't seen it any other time. Sick lookin' crash.

It'a a miracle that two drivers weren't killed because the other guy had no where to go.

Very true. Carpenter is lucky. The last I heard I think he's going to be ok.

That is just so sad. I feel for his family and friends. I am glad that Carpenter will be OK. I feel for him too, even though there was nothing he could do, it will still be with him forever.

Who was the driver that lost his legs in a similar looking crash a while back? I can't remember his name...

That's the one. It's amazing that neither driver died in that one.

Stuart Scott was acting like it was the other drivers fault on sports center which made me mad. He was like" Yellow flag signaled them to stop and for whatever reason he didnt, his spotter claimed to have told him the location of the driver but he still didnt slow down". Its a tragedy, they said it almost split the car in half right in the drivers part so that means it was pretty bloody and ugly.

Watching the replays of the crash it's a miracle both drivers weren't killed. Thoughts and prayers to all involved.

Terrible thing. So sorry for the family. I feel for the Rehal group as a whole, too. Especially The little lady. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often with those open wheel rockets. I hope Danika gets out of those things soon and into a stock car.
