| | Guest | i think it would be fun to see George Mason, a cinderell 11 seed make the national championship but its gonna be hard for them to beat florida.
Does anybody know what the lowest seed ever to make a national championship is? If someone knows if you could tell me | |

I agree, this would be funny. Very hard to beat Florida now that they are rolling. |

| George Mason is rolling too, my friend, lest you forget 3 of their last 4 victories have been over UConn, North Carolina and Michigan State. Anybody's game now.
The way George Mason looked at the end of regulation and the end of OT worried me, they looked helpless. They just got lucky UConn missed that last bucket, the guy had a clean look at that 3. I hate to say it and give GMU all the congratulations in the world but UConn lost that game more than George Mason won it. Florida is just looking inflated because Noah played a mean game. George Mason keeps it close with the fire but they're just too inconsistent trying to seal the deal.
As for the UCLA-LSU matchup, it's gonna be a tough pick. I expect the score of this game to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 35-33. Ummm, I'll go with UCLA because they do a little bit more than LSU does.

They're the lowest-seeded team to ever win the tournament. I'm not sure if a lower seed has ever made it to the championship game, though. |

| Wikipedia's page on the NCAA Tournament is pretty cool. There's some interesting trivia on there, and if you scroll down to the bottom, you can access the brackets for every tournament back to 1939. |

| I think UF handles GM....they are playing very well right now.
LSU/UCLA.....tough one. I'm rooting for LSU, but UCLA beat a very athletic Memphis team...their D is very good. two teams that match up well against each other imo.
am rooting for UF/LSU game....but i think if UF gets in against UCLA, UF wins it all.

| Mark me down for George Mason over Florida and UCLA over LSU. I successfully predicted George Mason victories over Wichita State and UConn after George Mason bounced the Tarheels. They mentioned during the UNC/George Mason game that George Mason had the #2 ranked defense in the NCAA. That type of defense will carry a team a long way.

| UCLA didn't beat Memphis. Memphis beat Memphis. They jacked up too many 3's when they weren't on. |

Throwing the ball on the court and saying play works well in Conference USA, not ever going to work against UCLA, a program that John Wooden still influences and sits two rows behind the bench at just about every game.
