Atlanta update and overall totals

An interesting week for a few people and congrats to those over 800, (Dan4Vols & utfantilidie)which doesn't happen too often! Also Aksn907 pulled off the double -picking the pole winner(20) and race winner (25) in Kasey Kahne! CONGRATS!
You'll note some people slipped this week while others made a move up.

It's time for the short track racers to do their thing at Bristol (BIS) so hope you pick some good short track drivers this week (i.e. #24, #8 and don't forget #48). Good luck!

Yeah. Damn you Carl Edwards.

I went to Bristol last Summer a few weeks before the night race and toured the track and whatnot. That banking is 100 times steeper in real life.

I agree that Carl did a lot of us in. On one board, I dropped Kahne which was a bad mistake and kept Carl. It may be awile before I pick Carl again. He's got to be consistent before I pick him. Just like Dale Jr did one season-last year.
I've been by the track several times at Bristol and stopped by but have not toured the track yet. The last time I was by there, we had a 2 hour wait. Didn't have the time.

Can you imagine how I felt to see the #43 in the lead only to have the engine blow. :cry:

Hopefully he can compete at Bristol. I hear they are building him a whole new car for Talladega.

I like Bobby Labonte. I wish him well and would like to see him make some top 10's ocassionally. He just needs a run of "good luck."

You are correct. I actually thought they had his car right. He had a really fast car. Enter bad luck.

I've got you and Tidwell in my rearview mirror and you are gaining fast! I've got to to have some luck at BIS and be among the top 3 totals. Of course, playing this NASCAR pick'em and guessing who is going to finish where is a crap shoot. I do my picks mainly, based on overall performances.Every now and then there is a surprise or two.
