It could be anybody. Everybody from world top 5s to journeymen win the Players.

I played that course about 5 years ago, and it is absolutely maniacal in some spots.

Apart from the Masters, my favorite tourney of the year!

Tons of TV coverage, all the best players in the game, beautiful course.

Never discount Tiger, although I don't know where his head is at what with his dad so bad off.

This time around I'm thinking Furyk or Davis Love III.
Love is long with the ball and so an obvious choice. Furyk, well that's just a hunch.

NCAAs and the Players' this weekend!!!

I like DL3, but he seems to have trouble in big situations. He's like Dale Earnhardt Jr . . . really popular, but results are lacking.

I would like to point out that at the time of the above post, I had not seen a leaderboard. WOW! Both Love and Furyk at -7!
