this is a thread for all them cinci reds fans out there. all eight of em. come in and discuss the upcoming season, players, stupid moves by the front office, and how bad they need some decent pitching.

there are other reds fans on this board, cool. i think the reds finally might be heading in the right direction after linder is now gone and o'brien got canned. was there a worse majority owner than carl he was terrible. i think this castelloni or how ever you spell it will turn the team around, but it is going to take a couple of years. he didn't take control of the team early enough to sign any good players so i think the reds will be very average this year at best. we need pitching help in the worst way and we really didn't get any this year. we better score 8 runs a game or we won't be 500.

I don't know if there's enough pitching anywhere to overcome that ballpark.

I was once a Reds fan when I was younger but not so much now. I figured out that I only liked the Reds because I liked the color Red and that was no reason to torture myself trying to pull for them.

yep that ballfield is small. a couple of years ago against the bluejays i watched adam dunn knock one out on the street. dunn and griffey really don't even have to try.

dunns gona hit 76 homers this year. griffeys gona hit 40 and willie mo pena's gona hit 38. and they will still be under 500 unless they get some pitching.

Griffeys been tearin it up in the WBC. i just hope he can do it in the regular season. o yea and the reds beat the red sucks today.

Dunn and Willy Mo will also combine for about 400 Ks if WMP plays every day.

remember the name edwin encarnacion, he will be the everyday 3rd baseman for the reds this year. i think he will have a breakout year. we need pitching, is there any out there avalible.

I'm a Reds fan but haven't kept up with baseball in a few years. Therefore, I won't post anymore on this thread but will read with great interest as new posts come in. I just wanted you to know there are NINE of us Reds fans out here, thank you very much.

The reds shut out the red sucks today 4-0 i think. Arroyo pitched 7 shut out innings and from what i saw of the game he looked pretty sharp. I think this new management is gona do the reds a lot of good.
