| :biggrin2:  i couldn't help but notice the absence of any olympic threads and thought it was funny....
i know we had pretty good year, finishsed 2nd in medal count, but man, what a joke they were this year....really kind of sad if you ask me....i remember when the olympics were a big deal....
i can't really say that i watched anything this year except a couple of runs of the bobsled and louge....that's it, and i didn't really feel like i missed anything.

| A lot of the US winter olympians that you heard about before the games were kind of like the 2005 UT football team, completely overhyped and utterly disappointing where the rubber meets the road. Overall, I enjoyed the Olympics. I probably watched 10 hours of coverage overall. I did not pick events to watch in advance, just tuned in from time-to-time and if I liked what I saw I stayed with it. | |

| i agree about the big names not delivering....too bad they were all hyped up....apparetnly there were some other good atheletes competing this year....as evidenced by the fact that we finished 2nd in medals...

| No, people cared about hockey, and skiing, and figure skating here... It's just that we kept up our reputation of bombing around the world and brougt it to Italy with us.
