| I have had the best luck using either small tubes or hair jigs usually in chartruesse. When crappie are active on bed protecting spawn live minnows are the only way to go. |

I love Kentucky lake, i just can't make that trip every time. Located in hermitage(10 miles) outside of Nashville. I can be on Priest or Old Hickory within 15 minutes. I do have a tournament on Kentucky Lake this year so i'll be up there in early April to prefish anyway. |

We now have a little house up there we stay at or else I'd be a full-time Old Hickory or Priest lake fisherman.
Where is the tournament at on Kentucky Lake? |

Where is the tournament at on Kentucky Lake? | Launch is out of Paris Landing. We fish one event there a year and sometimes come back for our end of the year two day tournament in October. Takes a twenty pound sack a day to make a check though, so you better have them dialed in. I love fishing those ridges out on the channel, when you get on them you can load the boat fast. |

He could probably catch a fish out of a puddle. Kentucky lake is a bass factory, easily one of the best in the nation. Guntersville is my personal favorite though. Grass and bass and more grass and bass, it's heaven sometimes. |

I worked the tournament last year and got to meet and talk with him, he casts the 6xd crankbaits 70 yards, he says. I'm a big Iaconelli fan so meeting him was great, one of the nicest pros on tour. If you've watched them, then you know how taxing that is to do for 8 hours and 3 days in a row. I'm beat after a one day tournament, but 3 days in a row i think my arms would fall off. |

That is my number one goal, I'm going to do college bass fishing next year. Also one thing I found funny, one of the oriental fisherman, don't remember which, speaks very little english and has one normal depth finder and one in their language at both the console and bow.
