Getting up at 5:30am tomorrow to go fishing for awhile. Can't think of anything better than being on the water before anybody else.

Rough time to be fishing. Stay deep from what I'm able to figure out. Totaled out at around 17lbs this Saturday on Tellico, kept them in the well for the day to get a total and released them.

Also, my Shimano reel finally met its maker, and I replaced it with a Fleuger President. 60 bucks and you can find it at Walmart, and it's a damn good reel.

Anyone know of a good spinning rod that won't run more than 50-60 bucks? I recently acquired a Pflueger President reel and am looking for something to stick it on. Thanks in advance.

Look at Cabela's Pro Guide series. The quality is great for the price.

I actually ended up with a Berkley lightning shock. Our Wally didn't have the series ones.

That's it. That's what it changed too. Forgot to mention it. Those aren't bad, got one myself.
