| Alright I have a few questions.
I started p90x again last night, gonna do the lean version with a lot of cardio and plyometrics to just try and cut fat.
I've always had a pretty muscular, athletic build and been in pretty good shape through high school and always had baseball to keep me in shape but since I graduated in '10 I've put on a little bad weight since I do nothing except sit in a cockpit most days.
I do race motocross though so that will definitely help since it's one of the most physically demanding sports in the world.
My question is what type of diet would you guys say is best? I know to drink a lot of water and cut out soft drinks and the normal cheese burgers, fatty foods, etc etc.
I have a friend who is my age that has always been bigger, but the last year or so he has gotten really cut and slimmed down a lot. He said all he did was eat the same food, but count his calories and not go over the limit. Was wondering if any of y'all had luck trying that. |

| | smh | Honestly, that's the reason why any diet will work to some extent; because they force people to think actively about their food. Once you do that, portions will almost always go down and become more frequent. |

He does what he can exercise wise, but the diet he sticks by. It has worked wonders. |

| Taking the day off, because I figured it would do me more good to wait til tomorrow than try to lift on 4 hours of sleep. |

| Portion size has always been a problem for me. Since changing the frequency and amount I'm eating, I'm seeing results without working too hard. Nutrition and diet are my achilles heel, not the training or the drive to work. |
