lol j/k

I don't have a problem using the regular pad that is at the gym, but if they had one of those, I'd probably use it. I'm not gonna go out and buy one, though.

The only thing that I hate about the pad at my gym is the way it velcroes. The velcro doesn't overlap. I don't know how to explain it, but it's probably similar to most pads. The velcro ends just butt into each other, so you have to make sure that the velcro joint is up when you start the lift, or the weight of the bar will just separate the velcro and the pad will pop off. It's an unpleasant surprise when you're expecting it to be there, and it's not.

I'll do squats with just the bar before I'll use the foam pad. I hate that thing

So the OxyElite bottle says do not mix with alcohol. How strict with that should I be? I usually will have 2 or 3 beers on Friday or Saturday night. I know it's not good for my diet, so I've cut back considerably, but I still like to have a little now and then.

Dude, I've got the torso of a 6' 4" guy, and the limbs of a 6' guy, which puts me right in the middle at 6' 2", and makes squats very awkward.

In HS my 5' 10" friend was jabbing me because he could dunk with a lot more ease than I could, and we raised our hands to see who could reach higher...his finger tips reached about 4" higher than mine.

I looked that up, they also have the sting ray which is for front squats. People who have used either one, what are your opinions?

I don't have an opinion, since I haven't tried them. For me, front squats are a lot more comfortable than regular squats using the straight barbell.

Sensitive much. That's what I've always heard it referred as.

My first set is usually clean grip, but usually cross my arms after that. Trying to slowly build up the flexibility in wrists tho.

Got a rough month ahead. Run in the Knoxville Half-Marathon tomorrow morning.

Then Monday starts Spring Practice. Running & Conditioning every morning at 6, combined with weightlifting at 12:30 and practice at 4:30. Taking 15 hours on top of that. I'll be lucky to stay awake in class.

Going to need a pre-workout of somekind to give me energy to get through the day. What do you all suggest? I'll probably just go with JACK3D again. I thought it worked well.
