I'm gonna have to go with Cox to Aromashodu on this one. Prothro's catch was probably one of the most spectacular catches in football in the last few decades, but the name of the contest is "Game-changing performance." I'm not so sure Bama would have lost to Southern Miss if Prothro didn't make that catch.

Agreed . . . That play completely changed the GA/Auburn game.

My game changing play of the year isn't even on the list. That throw that Matt Lineart made on 4th and long against Notre Dame was just sick.

yeah, that was huge, but the Michigan play on 4th down against PSU...also awesome, and the other one that sticks out is the NC State interception in the endzone against Ga Tech to seal the game.....

but Prothro's catch was the greatest "play" of the year as far as i'm concerened....

but with what's available...i go with Auburn.

No doubt. What was that, 4th and 19?

Of those, I went with Robinson/Penn State. Early in the year, no one thought they were for real... don't make that play or win that game they're not going to the Orange Bowl, winning the Big Ten, or gaining momentum for the rest of the season.
