Hats off to Benitez. He put up a memoriable performance last night against the Mets. 2 balks and a homer in the 12th? Are you kidding me? Glad the Mets dumped him a few years ago.
That was truly one for the ages. It's hard to blow a save in worse fashion than balking in the tying run in the 12th inning and then giving up a walk off HR.
That was absolutely terrible. 2 balks in one inning, that was bad enough, but to also give up the game winning homer after he had already balked in the tying run, that was terrible.
