Defensive tackle
Concord, California
De La Salle
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 309 lbs
Class: 2015 (High School)

Rivals Profile

DT Kahlil McKenzie, Green Bay (Wisc.) Southwest (2015): McKenzie is the son of former NFL linebacker and current Oakland Raiders executive Reggie McKenzie. The younger McKenzie is already an outstanding looking prospect for a rising sophomore, with the build and frame to play the three-technique defensive tackle spot. Physically, he was one of the two most impressive looking defensive linemen at the event even though most he went against were two years older. Even though his technique was raw, McKenzie won the majority of his repetitions off sheer speed and strength.

Son of former UT LB Reggie McKenzie.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound McKenzie has shown great promise since emerging as a freshman for the Trojans in 2011 and being named the MVP of the U-15 USA football team at the Eastbay/Football University Youth All American Bowl in San Antonio in January 2012.

Former Southwest coach Bryce Paup, who is now the defensive line coach at Northern Iowa, said last year that McKenzie already can do things some rookies in the NFL can’t do.

Rated a 24/7 Composite 4* and the #245 overall 24/7 Composite player. Only has two offers listed between 24/7 and Rivals - Ole Miss and Washington. This guy is a Legacy and looks good. We need to get him an offer ASAP. Legacy DT.... Come on!!

247 profile now claims he’s 6'4" 305. Kahlil McKenzie

Also finishing school in Wisconsin. In Green Bay. I would be shocked if ANYBODY gets him away from the Badgers. The Vols are probably the only ones with a decent shot.

247 profile says he is attending De La Salle HS in California now (Kevin Simon's alma mater).

I really hope Butch knows about this kid. Does anyone know what kind of player he is? Good blood lines

Edit: never mind. Saw his offer list. Doubts are gone.
