Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience: "Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."

The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Also, Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world."

Chavez is pushing a socialist (Marxist) revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S., and he is using our money to achieve his goal!

The Venezuelan government, run by dictator Chavez, is the sole owner of Citgo gas company. Sales of products at Citgo stations send money back to Chavez to help him in his vow to bring down our government.

Take Action.

Please decide that you will NOT be shopping at a Citgo station. Why should U.S. citizens who love freedom be financing a dictator who has vowed to take down our government?

This VOL fan nor his family will spend another cent at Citgo Oil company, I'll walk first!!!

How could Chavez possibly bring us down?

Believe it or not, the USA obtains more petroleum from Venezuela than it does the mid-east. Gas talks , BS walks. We desperately need to make a proactive effort towards alternative energy sources and we need to do it now. That's the best way to not only get the Arabs out of our hair, but Chavez as well.

I'd support pulling out of the Persian Gulf and taking over Venezuela on the way home. I really don't understand why we don't just erradicate some of these troublesome populations who are standing between us and the resources we need to maintain our standard of living.

I'm also curious...why is it that when these fanatical facist muslim maniacs talk about destroying western culture a big segment of our population seems to think it is just oppressedpeople blowing off steam? One day soon we will wake up to a world where a fanatical theocracy has nuclear weapons and they will not be the least bit afraid to use them. People will look back on this time and wonder why in the he!! we did not wipe these idiots right off the face of the earth while we had the chance.

I don't see much difference between a muslim who wants to destroy western culture and a hillbilly who wants to wipe all muslims off the face of the earth.

Eventually it will be them or us. I guess I'm an a-hole because I want to survive? The muslims of today are just as bad as the german nazis. They are convinced that their group is superior to all other humans and that anyone who will not subscribe to their way of thinking must be eliminated. Look at the guy in Afghanistan who is about to be executed becasue he converted to Christianity like 15 years ago. Just because you know some good people who happen to be muslim does not mean that muslims in general do not present a threat to us.

Pot meet Kettle. You accuse the muslims of being like the nazis. I don't disagree with you. They are. But you propose that we deal with them through the use of genocide. Not just them, but any country that we have a disagreement with. You don't think that's a facist attitude? Besides that, you weren't even talking about survival, but maintaining a standard of living.

You want us to eradicate entire populations in order to maintain our standard of living. Do you also think it's ok for a person to kill another person who has something they want? :shakehead:

The history of the human race suggests that we are in a struggle for survival. We are blessed to live in a time of relative peace when we do not have to go out and fight our neighbor to the death over a scrap of food, but there is no guarantee that the status quo will last. If the leader of some third world coutry wants to threaten the peace and tranquility, and YES that includes financial peace and tranquility, of my nation then I say KILL th S.O.B. Eventually everything comes full circle and we will have to fight and prevail or be subjugated or eradicated by someone stronger and more determined. I'm not saying that I agree with it or think it is "fair" it's just the law of the jungle.

The above post made me think of a quote by General Lewis "Chesty" Puller:

"Our Country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't
be any AMERICA because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our
women and breed a hardier race!"

Yeah, that's exactly what we need. ANOTHER war. :shakehead:

War and the threat of war is part of this countries interest whether it is right or wrong. Just as an example Teddy Roosevelt won the Panama Canal Zone through the threat of force and The Great White Fleet.

And then Bill Clinton let the Chinese have it which means that if we really did go to war with Venezuela we would probably have to deal with a couple of billion well armed Chinese as well.

China, excluding the threat of Nuclear Weapons, would not have a fuel reserve large enough to fight a prolonged conventional war with us. Any who they are capitalist now hiding behind communism to keep power.

But I have been known to speak out of the side of my mouth with crazy tales! :blush2:

I've never read anything that sugests that Chavez was put in power by anything other than Democratic means. I don't agree with labeling him a dictator.

A lot of dictators were put in power by "democratic" means.

Can we at least agree that the guy is a lunatic?

Some people who still believe in the one-world workers' utopia will never accept that any socialist is a dictator.
