Anyone ever messed with an FN 17705? Kind of considering picking one up when tax money comes in. It's down to that it an ACOG I think.

I thought about doing this but I buy my guns from law enforcement only dealers and get a huge discount. Got a Colt 6920 last year for 600.

Lower is complete. Just need a barrel, BCG, hand guards, and a gas block. After all is said and done I'll be in about $900.

PSA MOE lower parts kit w/o fire control group
BCM forward assist
BCM ejection port cover
BCM 14.5" hammer forged barrel
BCM gas tube
BCM GUNFIGHTER ambidextrous charging handle
BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 1 compensator

Just a few more parts and I'm done

Where have you been picking up these parts? I'm thinking this is the way to go on my AR.

Looking at one of these also as my off-duty carry. Ruger makes a quality firearm and they are made in the USA. Let me know how it shoots.
