Bray to meet with Ty Detmer

The way some of you guys attack current and former players (Tyler Bray) is really amazing. You must think you are really being insightful and/or entertaining.

For most of us, you are pathetic. It seems that you get your sense of worth from being able to put your foot on someone neck, so you feel worthy of living. (I guess)

Bray's problems may have been cured, if he had a different coaching situation and team culture. We will never know, but, the next few years should reveal if he is as sorry as you seem to think he is. In the meantime grow up a little.
Arian Foster agrees. Maybe that's why he doesn't Rep the Vols in his intros. Some of you know that yet you keep going with the vitriol.

He has the size and the talent but he needs the work ethic, the great coaching and the maturity to make it in the NFL.

He could quiet possibly make i,t but I am more inclined to think that he goes to San Diego, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, etc. and learn from an All Pro starter. So, it may be several years before we actually see him play much...

I'm hoping he will make it to Cleveland actually.

I hope they all do well. I also am pulling for Dallas Thomas to go high in the draft. Would be nice to see 4 vols drafted in the first 4 rounds this time. I wasn't a huge Bray fan, but i hope he does well. Maybe in a different coaching situation he will succeed. He does need to stay away from the larger markets though like New York, Chicago, San Fran, Boston, Philly, Dallas and DC. If he thinks the fans on VN are bad, just wait until he throw a pick at the end of the game in NYC or Philly.

Baggage? Really? The guy committed what my grandfather referred to as "youthful indiscretions" because he was a young college kid. It probably didn't help that he was playing for a head coach that he very clearly disliked, as did many of the players if we're to believe what gets spread around here. He'll be drafted and get a shot and that's great for UT and great for Bray.

Oh come on now, don't you know that everyone on this board is close friends with Bray and knows exactly how immature and childish he is? Please. As if these rednecks would ever just spout out the same things they heard on a radio show or read from an anonymous poster on a message board.

If Bray ends up with the right team where he has time to watch and hopefully learn and most of all mature.Talent alone doesn't cut it at the next level. Many many hasbeen QB's have come and gone 2 that come to mind Ryan Leaf and Dan McGwire.I doubt whether Bray making in pros affects recruiting much. We have this guy in Denver who is the poster boy for UT for years to come.I would like to see Bray make something of himself but a bunch of typewriter junkies can't help him . He has to want it bad that is the gut check for him.

For what to learn how to run the scout team.

Why all the hate for Bray. I truly don't get it. I never understand why some Vol fans seem to root for our former players to fail.

Seems completely ridiculous to me. Wouldn't you rather him grow into a starting QB in the NFL and become a great spokesperson for the Vols. That would definitely help recruiting.

Great year to be a QB in the draft. Lack of talent at that position could really help Bray get drafted. Good luck to them all, but time to move on to better days with Coach Butch!!

I think Koy Detmer had a better career. Why not schedule a sit down with Peyton?

Not even close. Ty Detmer was actually a pretty decent pro QB when he got playing time. He just never got much of a fair shake because of his size. He only had 1 season where he was the main starting QB (11 starts) and he had a passer rating of 81, and went 7-4.

Cleveland is a graveyard..... Ask the past 20 Qb's since Kosar. It screwed him up as well, it has been reported that his is daughter doing porn.

Cleveland is the Tennessee of the NFL. Needs the right coach. I like the new owner and thought he was a winner until he brought in Norv Trurner, and dropped dick jauron. Jauron was the best coach the browns had since they came back to cleveland. I can't believe they let him go. I would love to see bray sit behind weedon for a few years until he gets his emotions under control and learns the pro game.

The NFL is perpetually starved for QB's.

Bray has enough of an arm that he wont have to worry about making a scout team unless he tanks at the combine and in the interviews. Whether he has a 10 year career depends on him and the team he goes to.

I think Dallas needs to draft him. Romo is just an above average QB, who can't seem to perform in the clutch. He is not a franchise-level QB, and the sooner Jerry Jones and staff realizes that, the sooner they can get back to the big dance.

The Raiders and Jets should have a look at him, too.

I think if he's there in the mid or late third I'd like to see the cowboys pick him up and take a few years behind romo. Him coming in a starting for a team or playing this season could set a tough road for his career.

I wish bray would of had a better coach at UT. Things would have been different for us and him gbo
