Double Dogs in Hardin Valley off of Pellissippi Parkway has a decent draft selection but lots of TV's for viewing the game and a good menu to boot.

Half barrel is a gameday tradition. Basketball or football.

My two favorite places in east tennessee period are.......
Roaming Gnome- Pigeon Forge
Fox and Parrot- somehwere between cosby and Gatlinburg in some holler somewhere.

What is the place in the strip mall with stripper poles in the bar on Seven Oaks off Kingston Pike? There. Good wings. Lots of characters.

If on the West Side of town, Mellow Mushroom at Campbell Station. Mellow Mushroom on the Strip is my favorite though. Go Vols!

Bailey's is good, too much cigarette smoke though. I go to Smoky Mountain Brewery in Turkey Creek often, although some ppl don't like the fact that they only serve their own brew. But its good beer!

Too bad sheep people, brainwashed by decades of commercials don't have a sense of adventure. A place that serves their own brew is great for stepping outside the "how long was it on the shelf?" beer brands. One of the finest places to beer, and that actually knew how to make a proper pilsner beer was the now defunct "Holy Cow!" It was a little, and I mean little street corner place in Las Vegas, NV I wandered into while heading for Mammoth Mountain, CA. Their beers were so good, I made sure to revisit them on my way back to Arizona at the time. Unfortunately, their major focus was on excellent sandwiches, salads, and limited steak fare and BEER! LV is a casino town so they died after a few years. Found out when I went there for a convention and hoping to sample the rest of their great beers.

Sheep people, usually places selling their own brews are sensitive to how their brews are perceived. So they take extra effort to make them worth your coming back again. Walk a bit on the wild side, you could be in for one heck of a surprise.

Now, OP, I can't suggest a game bar for you as I don't live in the Knoxville area and don't it that well. Hardly at all, really. But if were you and the place has good game watching, I'd go with SmileyVol"s suggestion.

Of all the criteria the OP laid out, I think Double Dogs off the Hardin Valley exit might be his best bet. Tons of TV's, not just strictly a college crowd like many of the places down on the Strip, good food, close to his folks house in West Knox, and IIRC it's smoke free.
